Fees and payment

Full arch treatment is a significant investment, and the cost depends on what each person needs. We’d rather you understood exactly what you’d be paying for than be surprised later.

What affects the cost

  • Whether one or both arches are treated
  • The number of implants needed
  • Whether teeth need to be removed
  • Whether bone grafting, sinus augmentation or other preparatory treatment is needed
  • The type of provisional and definitive bridge
  • The sedation or anaesthetic approach
  • Any treatment needed for remaining teeth or gums

Your written, itemised quote

After your assessment, and if full arch treatment is a suitable option, you’ll receive a written quote that lists each stage of treatment and its cost — imaging, surgery, sedation or anaesthesia, your provisional and definitive bridge, and follow-up appointments — along with anything that may be needed in addition. If your plan needs to change, your clinician will explain why and ask for your agreement before going ahead.

Your assessment appointment

When you book, our team will confirm what your assessment includes and any fee that applies, before your appointment.

Health fund rebates

Some extras policies contribute towards parts of implant treatment. The amount depends on your fund and level of cover. Your quote includes the item numbers, so you can check with your fund before you decide. Where possible, claims can be processed at the clinic.

Payment plans

Payment plans may be available through third-party providers. Any finance is subject to the provider’s approval, terms, fees and interest. Ask our team about current options, and consider whether the repayments suit your circumstances before you commit.

Superannuation

In limited circumstances, the Australian Taxation Office may approve early release of superannuation on compassionate grounds to pay for dental treatment. Strict conditions apply, and withdrawing super can significantly reduce your retirement savings. The ATO and Ahpra have warned consumers to be cautious about offers that promote super for dental treatment R13. We recommend reading the ATO’s information and seeking independent financial advice before considering this.

Comparing quotes

If you’re comparing providers, ask each one exactly what their quote includes: the number of implants, the provisional and definitive bridge materials, anaesthesia or sedation, follow-up appointments, and what happens if something needs to be redone.
